Introduction
Baptism is often misunderstood as merely a physical act—whether through immersion in water or rituals involving fire. However, in its true esoteric and spiritual meaning, baptism is an inner transformation, a sacred process of purification and renewal. The Bible speaks of two types of baptism:
1. Baptism by Water (John/Aquarius) – The purification of the mind and soul through divine truth – You are no longer scared of nor subjected to the ways of the physical world.
2. Baptism by Fire (Christ/Holy Spirit) – The complete spiritual transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit – God takes over your life.
These are not external ceremonies you do, but internal awakenings that align a person’s consciousness with the divine nature of God. AKA Mindwork.
“The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us, (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:” – 1 Peter 3:21 (KJV)
Here, we are being warned that true baptism is not the pouring of water on the flesh (a physical activity) but rather the acknowledgment of God’s Divine truth within us through the awakening of Christ/the Holy Spirit.
John The Baptist or Aquarius: Means God bestow mercifully, God is Gracious, Mercies of God, Compassion, Fruitfulness, Love. He represents the high intellectual perception of truth in the mind, which is not yet quickened/activated by the Spirit/Christ. John/Aquarius is the beginning of the realisation of Divine truth, which once accepted fully, will allow the spirit to come within the mind and take over.
Baptism by Water: The Purification of Truth
Let us see how Christ instructed us to find and receive the truth from John or Aquarius The Water Bearer:
“And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the Passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the Passover? And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guest chamber, where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples? And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the Passover.”
Mark 14:12-16 (KJV)
In the scene above, Christ and his disciples (disciples represent the different aspects of his mind) are pondering how to find Divine Truth amidst the falsehoods, deceptions, corruption, and evil on Earth. Christ instructs them, saying: Enter into your mind through meditation. Upon doing so, you will discover the truth—hold on to it, and it will lead you to the highest point, where you will come to know all things (the chamber or upper room furnished). There, you will be completely free from all bondages (Passover).
John the Baptist or Aquarius The Water Bearer; represents the role of divine truth in preparing a person for higher spiritual transformation. He baptised with water, symbolising the cleansing of false beliefs, worldly attachments, and ego-driven desires.
“I indeed baptise you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptise you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” – Matthew 3:11 (KJV)
Water, in this context, represents divine truth—the revelation that washes away ignorance and falsehood. To undergo baptism by water means:
• Acknowledging the limitations of the physical world.
• Letting go of false beliefs that bind one to fear and suffering.
• Surrendering to divine truth, which purifies the soul.
This stage is crucial. Without first embracing truth, the soul cannot receive the deeper transformation of the Holy Spirit.
Spiritual Meaning of Water in Baptism
Water in the Bible often symbolises purification, life, and divine wisdom. That is why it was important for God to flood the Earth during Noah in order to purify it from all the impure thoughts and deeds. It is the same reason circumcision is a prerequisite to spiritual enlightenment. To cut away, to cleanse, to purity, to do away with old ways and ideas and accept, welcome, and embrace the divine truth, which in turn makes way for the spirit to enter.
“And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth” (Genesis 7:10 KJV).
This was the very first purification of the mind.
“That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.” – Ephesians 5:26 (KJV)
This shows that true baptism by water is not about physical immersion but about receiving the cleansing power of divine truth—the Word of God within us.
Baptism by Fire: The Power of the Holy Spirit
Once the soul has been purified by divine truth, it is ready to receive the fire of the Holy Spirit. This baptism by fire is not physical flames but the divine energy of Christ, which consumes the old self and awakens the true spiritual being within.
“For our God is a consuming fire.” – Hebrews 12:29 (KJV)
The fire of the Holy Spirit is transformative. It burns away the limitations of the old self—the ego, the fears, and the attachments to the physical world. Once baptised by fire, a person is no longer controlled by earthly desires but is fully guided by the Spirit of God.
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 (KJV)
This means that when a person is truly baptised by the Holy Spirit, they become a living vessel of divine power and wisdom.
The Transformation: A New Being in Christ
True baptism is the death of the old self and the birth of a divine being. After receiving the baptism of fire, the individual is no longer ruled by the limitations of the physical world. They no longer live by the laws of men but by the divine law of God.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” – Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
This means that after the baptism by the Holy Spirit, a person no longer operates from their own limited human mind but is led entirely by the Spirit of God. Their words, thoughts, and actions become divine.
The Illusion of Physical Rituals
Many have misunderstood baptism as a mere dipping in water or lighting of candles, thinking that these external acts alone bring salvation. However, Christ himself clarified that the true transformation is an internal process, not an outward ritual.
“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” – John 3:6 (KJV)
Physical baptism alone does not change a person’s nature. True baptism must happen within. The real transformation occurs when a person lets go of their old self and is reborn into the divine truth and power of God.
The Role of Faith and Surrender
Baptism requires faith and surrender. One must first accept that they are not just a physical being subject to death and earthly laws, but rather a spiritual being, eternal and governed only by divine law.
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” – Romans 8:14 (KJV)
This means that those who have truly undergone baptism no longer live by the fears and limitations of the world. They are free from the control of men and are governed only by God’s Spirit.
Conclusion: The True Baptism
To be truly baptised is not to be dunked in water or to partake in religious ceremonies—it is to undergo an inner transformation where one is first purified by divine truth (water) and then filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit (Christ).
Baptism is the process of:
1. Letting go of falsehood – Denying the illusion of the physical world.
2. Accepting divine truth – Recognising yourself as a spiritual being.
3. Receiving the Holy Spirit – Allowing the power of God to take over your life.
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” – 1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV)
After true baptism, it is no longer the individual that lives, but Christ (the Holy Spirit) that lives in them, guiding their every action and leading them into divine purpose.
Final Thought
Baptism is not an external event, but an internal awakening. It is the journey from human limitation to divine realisation. Those who have truly been baptised no longer live for themselves but are vessels of the divine, moving through life with wisdom, power, and love.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2 (KJV)
To be baptised is to be reborn into the truth of God and to live entirely by His Spirit.
Guess what, there is something much greater than water and spiritual baptism. See below:
“Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” Hebrews 6:1-2 (KJV)
Here, we are being warned once again and reminded that we must move beyond merely speaking to actively following the instructions of Christ, which lead to perfection. Upon receiving the Holy Spirit, one must not revert to their old ways unless they are truly prepared to perish. Instead, one must put the instructions into practice, fully embodying the gifts received. Hint! Hint! By doing so, one surpasses Christ and becomes one with the Holy Father. As Jesus himself said:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”
John 14:12 (KJV)
So, do you now think that you have been truly baptised?
